Unfortunately Brian's dad Dallas passed away in 2006 he would have enjoyed seeing the growth of God in both Brian and his ministry." Ministry Highlights - First and foremost, being one of the called among the many chosen. Taking place in musical events such as ''The Connection" with Harkin Studios and being a part of The Music City Gospel Showcase (I was actually on TV) My Life's Song- Brian attended the original Flatwoods Baptist Church as a child and accepted Jesus as his Savior when he was 8. Brian was weaned on the traditional Hymns and sang his first solo at age 12. He loves Gospel music. Brian has always had music in his heart. Even in school he always wanted to be a part of any thing that had to do with music. Concerts, stage show, etc. Brian received a 1 +++ rating on his vocal solo in state competition. Brian was 18 or 19 when he felt a call on his life to use his talents for God. Due to decisions Brian made as a young man it has taken some time for him to come full circle and reach the point where God could start to use Brian as he had planned. Even though God placed this call on Brian's life, He as many, choose to go out and try to be a part of the world as well as being a Christian Yes, Brian was saved but it was more a head salvation than a heart salvation. Brian knew in his heart that there was no middle ground with God. Through the years God would remind Brian of his calling. So in a feeble attempt to sooth his conscience Brian would travel home from where ever he might be working and stand up and sing and put on the show for a couple hours then back to work. It was in early 2003 while Brian was in a motel in Michigan that God spoke to him and said "I have given you your talent and I have prodded you to use them for my Glory and you have turned away each time. This is the last time I will call on you. The choice is now yours". It was now that Brian got on my knees and gave himself fully and completely to God heart and mind. Many of those around noticed a difference in Brian. God opened doors that made it possible for Brian to record his first CD "Answer the Call" with Benson Sound. Brian was selected to attend "The Connection 2004" Gospel Talent Showcase where he was able to lift his Ministry up by performing in front of many different professionals in the music industry (promoters, song writer, radio and recording studios) and that opened up a door for him to work on project with John Lord and One Lord Productions. Brian recorded his second CD".... in the beginning and a Christmas CD with One Lord Productions in Oklahoma City. John and his wife Dianna have been a major help in Brian's life both musically and spiritual. John wears so many hats in his involvement with Brian Mace Ministries. The years between 2004 and 20007 are the years God took Brian and started to develop and train him for the next level of his ministry. This is when Brian became a member of the praise and worship team at Rivers of Living Water in Austin TX. This is when Brian began organizing things in preparation to take his ministry public. In what appeared to be a "by chance" situation in mid 2008. Brian's mom found a gospel music show on TV and called Brian. (Watching Gospel TV& DVD's is how Brian spends a lot of his down time) It was The Music City Gospel Showcase 5th annual convention. So Brian check them out on line to find that this show produced by Don Frost is mainly for new and up start gospel performer. So Brian set them an e-mail to inquire about taking part in the 2009 convention. 2008 convention was just weeks away. In about a week Brian received a call from Mr. Frost. They talked and Brian actually used his cell phone as a microphone and auditioned over the phone. Brian was invited to be a part of the 2008 showcase. This was God opening the doors to the next level. While at the convention Brian met some of the legends in southern gospel music. Besides making new friends Brian was approached by Jonathan Goodwin with C & C Music Group about recording on their label Revelation Records. Brian agreed and he released his third project "How Much Love" under the C & C Music Group Label. Brian has taken after his father in many ways but, his talent for putting word in poem, story or song is the one he is most proud of. Brian actually has one of his poems published by International Society of Poets book titled Forever Spoken. It is titled "The Cowboy Rides Away" Personal Note from the desk of Brian Mace- I may not have a list of worldly accolades to list as many artist do but I truly feel that I have been given a gift from God and my heart is to help spread God's message. It is not only my mission to spread the Gospel and help unify the body of Christ but, I prayer that my music will touch and bless the hearts of all who listen. I hope in some way all who meet me will see the loving spirit of Jesus in my heart and this will possible help them to "Answer the Call" that God has on their life and find their "New Beginnings" and discover "How Much Love" that Jesus had for them. To be a surrendered vessel is amazing feeling and gives God the open door to bless you according to HIS riches. Brian Mace
